Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, or using CRT Viewer & Convert PEM PFX (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CRT Viewer (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. App Description CRT Viewer is a certificate analysis tool that allows users to view, inspect, convert, and export SSL/TLS X.509 digital certificates. The App supports PEM, CRT, CER, DER, PFX, and P12 file formats. All certificate processing occurs entirely on your device. No certificate data is transmitted to external servers.

3. Subscription and Purchases 3.1 Free Version The App offers a limited free version that provides basic certificate viewing capabilities with advertisements.

3.2 Pro Subscription CRT Viewer offers the following purchase options:

Weekly Subscription: Provides access to all Pro features on a weekly billing cycle with a 3-day free trial period.

Yearly Subscription: Provides access to all Pro features on an annual billing cycle.

Lifetime Purchase: A one-time purchase providing permanent access to all Pro features.

3.3 Auto-Renewal Weekly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings on the App Store after purchase.

3.4 Free Trial Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may be limited to one trial per Apple ID.

4. Pro Features Pro subscription or lifetime purchase unlocks the following features:

5. User Conduct You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

Use the App for any unauthorized or illegal purpose Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App Use the App to process certificates for malicious purposes 6. Intellectual Property All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, and content, are owned by CRT Viewer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The App is intended as a viewing and conversion tool only and should not be relied upon as the sole means of certificate validation for security-critical applications.

8. Limitation of Liability IN NO EVENT SHALL CRT VIEWER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP.

9. Third-Party Services The App may use third-party services including Google AdMob for advertisements, Apple’s In-App Purchase system, and the public Certificate Transparency log service crt.sh for domain certificate lookups. The App also uses a private Cloudflare API for receiving user feedback. These services are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. The App uses non-personalized advertisements and does not request tracking authorization.

10. Data Processing All certificate data processing occurs locally on your device. No certificate files, data, or content are uploaded to any external server. For more information about data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing Law These Terms and your use of the Application are subject to the Developer’s policies. Both parties agree that any disagreements will be settled exclusively through mutual, out-of-court agreement.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction CRT Viewer & Convert PEM PFX (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application (“CRT Viewer” or “the App”) handles information. We are a privacy-first application — all certificate processing occurs 100% on your device.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

Certificate Data: We never access, read, upload, or transmit any certificate files you open. All parsing, viewing, conversion, and export operations happen entirely on your device.

Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.

Location Data: We do not access or collect your location.

Photos, Contacts, or Camera: The App does not request or access your photo library, contacts, camera, or microphone.

Cross-App Tracking: We do not track your activity across other apps or websites. We do not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, IDFA, or any form of cross-app tracking.

Browsing History: We do not collect or analyze your browsing history.

3. Information That May Be Collected 3.1 Apple’s Standard Analytics (Optional) If you have opted into sharing analytics with app developers through your iOS device settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized analytics data with us, including:

App crashes and performance metrics Usage statistics (app launches, session duration)

Device type and iOS version

This data is collected and processed by Apple in accordance. You can opt out of this in your iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

3.2 Subscription Data If you purchase a Pro subscription or lifetime access, Apple processes your payment through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). We may receive:

A transaction ID confirming your purchase

Subscription status (active, expired, trial)

Purchase date and renewal date

This information is used solely to verify your Pro subscription status and is managed through Apple’s StoreKit and our subscription management partner RevenueCat.

3.3 RevenueCat We use RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat processes:

An anonymous app user ID Subscription status and product information Purchase receipts (from Apple) RevenueCat does not receive any certificate data or personal information.

3.4 Advertisements The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Important details about our ad implementation:

AdMob may collect the following non-personally-identifiable information for contextual ad serving: IP address (for approximate geographic location of ad serving) Device type and operating system version App bundle identifier Pro subscribers do not see any advertisements.

3.5 Domain SSL Checker The SSL Monitor feature queries the public Certificate Transparency log service crt.sh to retrieve publicly available certificate information for domains you enter. Only the domain name is sent to crt.sh — no personal information, device data, or authentication credentials are transmitted. This data is publicly available and the query is equivalent to a web search.

3.6 Feedback & Feature Requests The App includes optional feedback and feature request forms. If you choose to submit feedback:

Email Address: Optional — you may leave it blank to remain anonymous. Message Content: The text you type in the feedback form. Subscription Status: Whether you are a Pro or Free user (for prioritization purposes only). This information is sent to the developer via a private service (CloudFlare API). No information is shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.

4. On-Device Processing CRT Viewer is designed with a strict on-device processing architecture:

Certificate Parsing: All X.509 certificate parsing (PEM, DER, CRT, CER, PFX/P12) is performed locally using in the App. Format Conversion: Certificate format conversions (PEM ↔ CRT ↔ CER ↔ DER) occur entirely on your device. PDF Generation: Certificate reports are generated locally and never touch any server. File Access: The App only accesses files you explicitly select through the iOS file picker. It does not scan, index, or access any other files on your device.

5. Data Storage The App stores the following data locally on your device:

App Preferences: Language selection, theme settings, onboarding completion status. Subscription Status: A local cache of your Pro subscription status for offline access. Encrypted Certificate Vault: If you choose to save certificates to the Vault, they are stored locally on your device in an encrypted format. This data never leaves your device. Domain Watch List: Domains you add to the SSL Monitor are stored locally for notification scheduling. CSR/Key Pairs: Generated CSRs and private keys exist only in memory during your session. They are not stored persistently unless you explicitly download them.

Certificate data viewed in the main viewer exists only in memory during your active session and is discarded when you close the certificate or exit the App.

6. Children’s Privacy The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

7. Data Security Since all processing occurs on-device and we do not collect or transmit certificate data, the primary security measure is the iOS platform’s built-in security features, including: iOS App Sandbox Data Protection (encryption at rest) Secure Enclave integration App Transport Security

8. Your Rights You may have the right to: Access any personal data we hold about you (we hold essentially none) Request deletion of any data Opt out of analytics sharing (through iOS Settings) Remove ads by purchasing Pro
