100% Offline Processing (Zero Server Uploads) Our core functionality—parsing, reading, searching, and exporting your .msg and .eml files—is performed entirely locally on your device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac). We do not upload, transmit, store, or have any access to your email content, attachments, metadata, or contacts. Your files stay securely on your device at all times.

Information We Collect Because the app works offline, our data collection is strictly limited to necessary third-party integrations:
RevenueCat (In-App Purchases): We use RevenueCat to process and manage subscription plans. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous user ID and store your purchase history to ensure your Premium status is synced across devices. No personal identifying information (like your real name or contact email) is accessible to us.
Google AdMob (Advertising): For free users, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect basic interaction data and non-identifiable device identifiers to serve ads. Premium users are entirely exempt from any advertising tracking.
Crash Analytics: We may collect anonymized crash reports (e.g., via Apple’s native diagnostic tools) purely to identify bugs and improve the app. This does not contain any content from the files you open.

Data Retention and Deletion Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is no user data or email history for us to retain or delete. You have complete control over your files on your own device.

Acceptance of Terms By downloading or using the Open MSG · EML Viewer & Reader application, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

App Usage and Functionality The app allows you to read, inspect, and export .msg and .eml files locally. While we strive for absolute accuracy in rendering emails and attachments, we cannot guarantee flawless extraction for heavily corrupted or non-standard protocol files. The service is provided “as is”.

Subscriptions and Payments Certain premium features (unlimited exports, Bates Numbering, ad removal) are unlocked via a subscription (Weekly, Yearly) or Lifetime purchase.
Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless tracking or auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

User Responsibilities You are responsible for the right to open, inspect, and export the email files you load into the app. We are not liable for any misuse of confidential or copyrighted email communications, nor for any loss of data occurring on your local device.
