Welcome to PhotoPrep! By downloading, accessing, or using the PhotoPrep mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

PhotoPrep provides tools for editing photos, specifically for removing backgrounds and resizing images for official documents (passports, visas, IDs). The App offers both automated (AI-based) features and an optional paid “Expert Quality Service”.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of the photos you upload. You must not upload photos that are illegal, offensive, or violate the rights of others.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes.

3. Paid Services & Subscriptions

3.1 Expert Quality Service

This is a one-time paid service where a professional designer manually edits your photo.
Service Commitment: We aim to deliver the edited photo within approximately 1 hour during business hours.
Acceptance Guarantee: We strive to ensure that photos processed via our Expert Service meet standard biometric requirements. However, final acceptance by government authorities is subject to their discretion and specific, changing regulations. If a photo is rejected due to our editing error, please contact support for a revision or refund.
Data Handling: Photos submitted for this service are shared with our design team solely for the purpose of editing and are deleted from our systems after delivery.

3.2 Pro Access (Remove Ads)

Pro access is a one-time purchase or subscription (as specified in the App) that removes third-party advertisements.
All payments are processed through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

4. Refund Policy

App Store / Google Play: Refunds for purchases made through the App are generally managed by the respective app store’s refund. We do not have direct control over billing.
Expert Service Issues: If you are dissatisfied with the Expert Quality Service, please contact us at plusapkz.com/iletisim before requesting a refund from the store, so we can attempt to resolve the issue.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and logo, is the property of PhotoPrep and is protected by copyright. You obtain no rights to the App’s intellectual property by using it.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the automated background removal will work perfectly for every image or that the App will be error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted, PhotoPrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of data or rejected applications.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

Image Processing & Data Collection

Local Processing: For standard features (cropping, resizing, AI background removal), image processing happens locally on your device whenever possible. We do not upload your photos to our servers for these basic tasks. Expert Quality Service (Paid): If you purchase the optional “Expert Quality Service”, the photo you select is securely transmitted to our professional design team.

Use: Only to manually retouch and format the photo for official compliance.
Retention: Once the edited photo is delivered to you, both the original and edited copies are permanently deleted from our systems (typically within 2 hours).

Advertising (AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a third-party service that may collect and use data such as: Device Identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID) Location Data (approximate) Usage Data (ads viewed, clicked) This data is used to provide personalized ads and analytics.

Purchases

Transactions are handled directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store. We do not store or have access to your credit card or sensitive financial information.
